Downloading and Installing

RPM/DEB/TAR.GZ version
  • Click on Download and save the file.
  • Install the package by using the graphical package manager provided by your Linux distribution or from command line by running the appropriate command:

    RPM:$ sudo rpm -i nomachine_9.4.14_1_armv7hl.rpm
    DEB:$ sudo dpkg -i nomachine_9.4.14_1_armhf.deb
    TAR.GZ:$ cd /usr $ sudo tar zxvf nomachine_9.4.14_1_armv7hl.tar.gz $ sudo /usr/NX/nxserver --install
If you don't have the sudo utility installed, log on as superuser ("root") and run the command without sudo.

Hardware

The packages we provide for Raspberry are available for ARMv7 and ARMv8 architecture. Make sure you install the correct packages for the Raspberry device that you are using. To check what architecture your Raspberry uses, open a terminal on your device and run the uname -m command. For further information about supported devices and the minimum HW requirements, along with details of the Linux flavors to use on your Raspberry device, please consult the guide here.

  • ARMv7 SoC with NEON extension, Linux for ARMv7 "hard float" (armhf/armv7hl) distribution for Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi 4 and Pi 5 devices
  • ARMv8 SoC, Linux ARMv8 (arm64/aarch64) distribution for Pi 3, Pi 4 and Pi 5 devices
